Description
This is just a colorized and fully weaponized version of the other piece. I really wanted to push the "living battleship" concept as far as I can with this character so I added a bunch of new weapons. I drew inspirations from all Mechagodzillas; showa, heisei, kiryu, anime MG, etc. The hover fins/wings are not built for fast aerial movements as it is for transportation as oppose to using helicopters. Its tail is an add-on scifi type tank with a spike that also shoots electricity(hopefully to paralyze Godzilla). The three crest on its head was directly inspired by Kiryu's(The idea is that they sync all the weapons easier). There are two shoulder cannons on each side that shoots different munition. Its right shoulder cannon is actually a slightly altered MG head from the anime. I also added missiles packs on its shoulders with various explosive types. Then I added high caliber machine guns on its forearms for more direct combat. I think I may have over did it with this one, but I like how it turned out. This is just my interpretation of a more modern Mechagodzilla. ***Sorry for the slow uploads lately. I have some personal problems to deal with. I'll start accepting commissions asap. I like how it captures the shape of Godzilla while also looking industrial in a way. Itβs not a silver Godzilla and itβs not a walking tank vaguely resembling him, but somewhere in between, and thatβs how I like my Mechagodzillas.

Well, I don't know much about weapon systems, but I'd imagine it's something futuristic. It's MFS 6.

To me, depicting scale is in how the smallest details are handled, you've nailed it more or less, its quite beautiful in design!! Only suggestion I might make is that the shading is too deep for an object of that size being observed. So a shallower depth of lights vs darks would likely enhance the affect.

I was... so disappointed... when the animated film Godzilla: Planet ofΒ the Monsters and its subsequent films were released. Every chance they had to show beautiful monsters at play, Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidora and Mecha-Godzilla, they were all in their own way shunned of what I felt made them so special.
Thanks to you, I got a chance to see what I was really looking for in those films. I love this piece a lot.

Looks like a nice Monster-Verse version of Mechagodzilla. I definitely feel like this is something they'd do.
I personally see Mechagodzilla being used as a sort of response to the increasing threat of monsters, created by humans, but ultimately going too far in its pursuits. Best intentions gone horribly wrong, basically. I would even buy it being used against whatever final opponent Goji has to face, the two having to team up against a stronger foe. Either way, Mechagodzilla would make a great deal of sense to put in the Monster-Verse.

weirdly enough i can see a mecha Godzilla still being able to fit into the legendary versions world
after the events of king of the monsters humanity builds a weapon to help fight against them but Godzilla being a bit of a itch sees it as a threat making the machine also see Godzilla as a threat
