I love the textures in the rocks and the application of brushstrokes; this is very nice!

How would you describe your workflow? how do you start and end and how long do you need? Do you get your colours from photos or do you place them yourself?

Before starting i search some photos for inspiration, desert, canyon.. etc. Generally my first layer is basic color from sky, elements ( mountain for this one) and the ground, then im adding more details on the ground ( i thnik the ground is important for the perspective wiev, and its more easy to place your elements after drawing it) and place carefully (composition) the major elements in my scene. Im not picking colors from photos, i think its better to use your own colors. Finally im adding the character. For this one i think it takes me like 1h30 or 2 hours.
