I've been messing around with sketchup for a few years now and I decided to have a go with some rendering plugins for it. The model is an old one of mine while the plug in is Maxwell. I haven't finished watching the user guide videos so I don't yet really have much idea what I'm doing but the results so far are interesting.Related content

The Maxwell material library is worth your time to browse.

The SketchUp plugin isn't too bad, but the full suite is daunting.
