ok this is the whole process that went into the dream eater saga that zenescope will release soon. kinda shows how much thought goes into drawing 37 characters fighting each other.

first is a list of names that i scribbled at the top of the far left one (the first step) then as i thought of certain characters i jotted some poses they might be fighting in.most of em made the cut...cept the one in the left of the left image of the queen of hearts.

second step was making sense of the jumbled up thumb nails which brings us to the center image. i did that one in half the sheet of 11x14 paper. if u look closely the guy on the far right of the two left layouts have a guy fighting 3 girls...that didnt make the cut on the final layout

these stages are important cause this is where u can afford to make all the mistakes...on the board its too late to try and make composition like this work.

and even after all the thought process i still messed up and moved the girl thats kicking over to the center for better composition.

then the final image can be started.

whew...GO ASS!!!
