I go through phases , being on too much and then cutting back . Trying hard not to let the political mess keep me angry .

They are simple cut and paste ones, one of these days I will put them up. Our house is on the market soon so we have been out straight . Cut and paste happens in the evening as I can't make a mess now with paint etc. I'm hoping things will fall into place soon, not being settled is awful. Thank you NeilΒ Β

It's one of the worst things isn't it, not having those places to do things and the routine to fall into to make things happen...and the uncertainty, it's shitty, it really is. I've been there a few times and have been in a really bad way. The only good things I can say about moving home is that it clears out some of the lingering 'stuff' that we shouldn't be attached to, inner and outer. But then that's tough too. What I'm saying is that I sympathise and empathise. I hope the trial you are going through is over soon and you find yourself settled again and that this is one of those 'blessings in disguise' that will open new doors you didn't know about. Deep breaths, live in the moment...adapt and create, what I did, my unasked for advice. Always my pleasure, Diane.

I love your unasked for advise because you are spot on. I'm about to go down to the garage and sort through more to go, some to the dumpster some to a sale pile . I am much more mercenary about getting rid of stuff then my husband, I keep a tiny house fantasy in my head while clearing out. I will feel much better if we could find something we like but not yet. Do I want to be around people again or move further out, that is my biggest concern especially since I don't want to go through this again. Are you painting again? I'll never stop asking you that you know.

Well, I moved away from people, turns out that was the best thing to do, for me.
I briefly worked on a painting a couple of weeks ago, then got really, really busy and have had to leave it.

I've been away from people for 15 years with complete privacy. Once you get used to it it is hard to go back. I'm so glad to hear you started a painting !
