Thank you very much for such a wonderful critique! It was quite helpful to see your opinion on this. Yes, the feet gave me a lot of difficulty; definitely something that needs practice xD as for backgrounds, theyre another weak point- most of mine, unfortunately, end up looking slapped together because of it. I might actually go back and edit this someday in accordance to this crit <3 I'm sure the results would be amazing.

This is beautiful x a hundred billion thousand.
The shading is absolutely breathtaking, and the way the background looks so pieced together also really adds to the impact of the picture. I also think you were good to decide on keeping the lineart, it does really add an extra level of deepness to the picture. The wings are also beautiful, along with the head. Very good anatomy.

The tail looks a little lumpy toward the very end, and loses it's smoothness. The main body looks a tad bit off, and maybe a little too shapeless. You could try giving a little bit more of a curve to his/her spine next time. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

This is ridiculously beautiful; it looks like you spent a loooooooong time on it. And I'd never think of a dragon with bird features, that's really creative.
