Novocaine V Ludens

"Novo has saliva that becomes gas upon contact with the air - this gas is toxic and acts like a poisonous form of Chloroform, it's a painkiller and soporific, putting its victims to sleep as it kills them without them even realising. It's backed up by a neurotoxin implant in her canines - which releases a necrotic anti-clotting agent when she bites down, preventing wounds from forming scabs so her opponents bleed out adding to their disorientation. This gas is heavier than air, and forms a thick, choking cloud at ground level, meaning the only way to go... is up."

And to kick us off this year we have to ever beautiful Novo facing off against WithoutCommonSense 's GORGEOUS Ludens

This is a collab, Ani was resonsible for the amazing lines and colour! While I supplied the concept sketch, Background and shading!
Weeeeeee It feels good to be back, this was a little last minute so I'm so pleased it turned out to be probably the one of the best pieces I've completed all year, one of the reason's I love CoL, it reminds me every year that I have actually improved whereas otherwise I might feel like I've gone nowhere. aka there is no way in hell i could have created something like this last year holy fu-
