Bringing a bit more of my work and study into my ARPGs and characters- you can expect more work like this from me in future. I'm trying to workout a shorthand style that takes less time to complete than my usual concept work, but still conveys a clear atmosphere and an idea that is easily readable - this piece was between 4-5 hours in total <3 This in particular is Environment design work for my kukuri Loaf - headed up by Orsino. This scorched paradise is where they call home.

The Burn
A densely wooded area regrowing in the wake of successive forest fires - the earth carefully healing over after utter desolation. The area is prone to going up in smoke, especially in the height of summer when the dense pine trees and dry soil turn the wilderness into nothing short of a tinderbox - but the fire that burnt this scar into the ground was not natural, and no nature could contain it.
