Description
Introducing Silversphene, a retired jeweler and gemologist living in the industrial sector of Canterlot and the wife of Pick Drift. Mother of Ebon Topaz.She named her foal as soon as he was born. A shame that his special talent didn't turn out to be affiliated with gemstones.
Design based off of my own mother.

Along the lines of designing Ebon's parents, I pretty much realised that his coat and mane colours come back in my own parents' hair. So, I thought I could as well design them based off of my own.

Just out of curiosity... Where do you think my other two OC's, Pick Drift and Ebon Topaz, would stand?

Well for Pick Drift, he seems to show a strong and quite old character, and his colors fit well with both the show's style and his ex-job as well. He's not that badass, serious guy with a mustache and/or beard, rather a kind old guy, and I like that.
About Ebon, I don't know that dark yellow/mustard mane doesn't really seem to fit the dark coat, personally. I see you wanted to put something from her- I mean his mother and his father into one OC, but personally I would have stood with the yellow eyes from his mother-side along with her personality and (future) special talent territory maybe. Also his name... it just flows a bit strangely to me. Otherwise, he is great.
I'm putting pick to the elite ones, but I don't forget Ebon either.
