Okay, first off these characters are really dear to my heart so I figured it was about time I drew them again XD Their names are Duskfeather(the tabby) and Runningcloud(the calico). Second, yes the calico is a male. When i created him I wasn't aware that torties or calico, whatever you want to call them, are female in just about every case and that the males are sterile. By the time I figured this out it didn't matter caused I loved him to much to change his colors so bleh! Plus he really isnt a cat anyway XD

For anyone curious, these two were roleplay characters owned by me and . The two were love interest and had probably one of the best romances I have ever roleplayed! So angsty and yet so wonderful X3

The concept of the roleplay that they were in was called Stories Come Alive, a roleplay where six ordinary human children are sucked in to the wonderful world of Erin Hunter's Warrior of the Forest. They appeared in the time right after The New Prophecy, but just before The Power of Three.

With their presence, the future of the clans was changed and had dire consequences. All of them had been changed in to cats and were apart of a prophecy foretelling about their role in the lives of Thunderclan. Runningpaw, Duskpaw, Snowpaw, Onyxpaw, Amberpaw and Twisterpaw all needed to find their places amongst the clan and save the forest, though they didn't know it just yet.

So with that being said, Runningpaw and Duskpaw became best friends, with a few awkward flirting moments. However Duskpaw was blinded by Ashfur and believed she was never to become a warrior. Runningpaw trained with her and helped her to fight along side him and become one of Thunerclan's best warriors, therefore changing Jaypaw's destiny.

As the two grew older and became Runningcloud and Duskfeather, a bond had developed making the two inseparable, at least they thought. Eventually Onyxclaw asked Runningcloud to be her boyfriend, seeing as they were still human inside and it would be awkward to ask to be mates. Runningcloud liked her well enough and couldn't really find a reason to say no, so he agreed. Duskfeather was devastated.

Eventually, after much angst later, Runningcloud left the clans to roam the countryside for a while, but eventually came back and found Duskfeather seeing a different tom named Ghostfur. He couldn't contain himself any longer and confessed to her that he loved her. Lucky for him, her feelings of love for him had never died. So from then on the two were considered mates, or husband and wife. Yet it wasn't to long before all things went to heck and Lionblaze took over all the clans with brutal force alongside an army of rogues led by a cat named Apollo. Eventually the six human cats devised a plan to dethrone Lionblaze.

After much fighting and Lionblaze's death, the clans were restored. Bluestar stopped time and appeared before the six cats and offered them a choice, to stay in the clans or go back to their bodies in the human world. During the years they had spent with the clans, their bodies had been put on life support and were in deep comas, yet it was time for one body to die. They could no longer live with a paw in both worlds, literally. Each person was given a choice to let their warrior self die, or let their human self die.

With conflicting emotions, Runningcloud couldnt decide. However, each of his companions had no problem letting their human selves die, seeing as their past lives hadn't been good. Even Duskfeather, now named deputy of Thunderclan, chose to stay. However, Runningcloud had never felt like he belonged in the clans. He wasnt as talented as the others and he had never hated his human life. Despite his love for Duskfeather he chose to go home to his family. As his spirit was changed back in to a human, he scooped Duskfeather up in to one last embrace and told her he loved her, and that no matter how long it took, he would find her again. With that he was forced back in to his own body in a hospital where his family was waiting with tear filled eyes.

Three years passed and Runningcloud, once again Luke Parker, had forgotten about his adventures as a warrior cat. Yet when his young cousin brought over a new book by Erin Hunter he saw Runningcloud's green eyes and calico face starring out of the book cover and in to his own green eyes. It then struck him like lightning and all his memories flooded back in to him. Without another second to loose he packed his bags and began his search for Duskfeather.

Eventually he found his way to a place that matched the images of his past life as a warrior. He navigated his way to where Thunderclan would be and called out for Duskfeather. Eventually he heard rustling ahead and held his breath. From behind a fern bush and small dusky brown she cat appeared and stared at him with a quizzical glance. He called for her again and he could almost see tears in the cat's eyes. Without any reserve the small she cat bounded to him and he scooped her up in to his arms. With love in their hearts, they were reunited.

Now with that story out of the way I can understand if many of you have a sort of "eww" factor going on. Yes... Runningcloud turned back in to a human and Duskfeather stayed a cat. The point is that they still loved each other, who they were on the inside, not their physical appearance. Some of you I know are thinking, "Ebbs... Seriously? Bestiality? GROSS!!" For the record, no. No they did not get physical with one another after they were reunited as different species. They spent the rest of their lives together in the human world, Duskfeather as a cat and Runningcloud as a human. There is a lot more detail that goes with this story but I don't have the time to get in to it. However I can tell you that Runningcloud as a human was rich. He came back to his family and found out they had grown extremely wealthy while he was gone. So he had enough time and money to spend on computers and such with word document in order to communicate with Duskie.
