Description
Nienna is the solitary goddess of Sorrow, she weeps for every wound that the Earth receives. I was intuigued by her emotion so I chose her. Initially, her hair was supposed to be pale, but I kind of like this better.Nienna © J.R.R. Tolkien

You did a beautiful job of capturing those mournful eyes. The hair is nicely done, also. Very nice

This is really pretty. Did you use a reference? Just curious. Either way, it looks incredibly realistic, and the eyes are so pretty! They look so glassy and real. Her hair is really nice- intricate and deep. I can't draw hair to save my life, so I always appreciate a good rendering of hair.

No, I didn't use a reference (one of ym rare pictures that does not use one). And thanks very much for the comment. Hair is always the longest to do for me, but I do it moderately well, so it's worth it. ^^

I haven't used that book in ages!!! (longer than the ages ago in which i gave it to you ^^) My realism has come out of my head for a long-o time. ^.^ Thanks for the comment.
