It was a few days until Rawson would finally be back to his usual routine for traveling. He wanted something to do. Esther noticed he was clueless, and offered him to come with her to collect herbs in the burned forest. The two have a generally great time. Rawson cherishes it, as he knows he won't see Esther for a while. He quite liked her excitable energy. It reminded him of how Ianthe could be at times.

Here's a piece of Rawson kindly helping Esther out with herb gathering before he leaves to return to his usual stuff. Takes place in spring when Farkas dragged Rawson over there to rest and get to a more proper weight cuz aint no way he was gonna let Rawson meander around the entire sanctuary as just a pile of bones. Rawson is obviously doing a lot better here, and while i would like to depict more of the visit its not my top priority right now so i may do a flashback at a later date of him just hanging out at the beginning of the visit. I obviously wanted to depict him doing something during his month long spring visit though.

Also jeez i seem to always draw Esther with her eyes closed. Literally the only art depicting her with open eyes is her app art and her headshot art in the WoLF 6th anniversary art.
