Wanted to try Animation Pro for iPad that uses puppet style animation. Took a while to get the hang of but seems pretty straight forward. I think there is some potential with the app, I feel like with more planning with the character rigs and thought process to the animation it could be good. The app even allows for figure substitutions which might work for changing angle of a character if setup multiple figures for one character at different angles. A negative I felt came from comparing the recent animations I’ve made; I found the frame by frame animation to be relaxing to an extent, and this always felt more like work which is probably why I spent less time on it. Next will be trying some 3D stuff.
