This is the HTC Hero Widget based on iVillain by Justflikwalk and customized by eCAR.
It doesn't change any icon or dock background, it just add the Widget on your LockScreen (not on the Springboard...).
By default, it take the background of "User Wallpaper" in WinterBoard but you can change it with a personal wallpaper by tuning "customWallpaper" in widgetSettings.js and "persoWallpaper.png" in "Widget" folder
You can change your location in widgetSettings.js as well as weather description language, temperature and hours kind (Fahrenheit/Celsius, 12H/24H), etc.

Unzip and place "Android Widget by eCAR.theme" folder in /private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/ by SSH

/!\ use LOCKSCREEN CLOCK HIDE (source cydia : [link] ) to hide the original clock on the LockScreen

C'est le gadget du HTC Hero, basé sur le theme de iVillain de Justflikwalk, et modifié par eCAR.
Ce thème ne change ni les icons du Springboard, ni l'arrière-plan du Dock, il ajoute seulement le gadget sur le Lockscreen (et pas sur le Springboard...)
Par défaut, ce thème récupère le fond d'écran contenu de "User Wallpaper" dans Winterboard mais vous pouvez changer ce fond d'écran en réglant "customWallpaper" dans le fichier widgetSetting.js du theme et en changeant le fichier "persoWallpaper.png" dans le dossier "Widget"
Vous pouvez changer votre localisation dans widgetSettings.js, ainsi que la langue, le type de température et d'heures, etc.

Décompresser et placer le fichier " by SSH" dans /private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/ en SSH

/!\ utilisez LOCKSCREEN CLOCK HIDE (source cydia : [link] ) pour cacher l'orloge d'origine sur le LockScreen

Changed the city to Sydney AUST but weather is not showing, could you please suggest and answer? maybe the city code is not correct?
I also changed lang: to EN, is that all you have to do to change the language to english?

It looks great - but it isn't very fast on my 3G. When I put the screen on, the widget is loading and has finished, when the screen turn black (I have 3.1.3 - 4.0 sucks on a 3G).

So for an 3G the widget isn't handy - but on a 3Gs or 4 it's very good

PS: I don't like the text at the buttom...it destroys the whole lock screen But this can be deletet easily via SSH...

the widget is working and looks great, except when i sync my iPhone to charge, the widget doesn't allow for my battery images to be shown. it's not a huge deal, but still, is there any way to fix this? i'm running on ios4.1 on iPhone 3GS.

Weather does not work, data from the site accuweather.com shows are different from the script.
Something is wrong ... Often, the data do not wish to load.

okay found a fix for a couple of problems:
first of all the infinity symbol behind the temperature can be removed by editing the LockBackground.html.
about halfway down the page there is a line that says:
"

∞º" or something similar. just delete the '&infin' part so it looks like:
"
º

secondly if you just have a black screen behind the widget, at the top of the script it says that it takes the image from User Wallpaper, rather than User Lock Background. so either modify the script or change the User Lock Background from Winterboard using a programme such as WinScp.

hope this helps - app looks fucking insane now by the way.

Yes, you can make your own translation, you take the "FR.js" file in Widget\Languages\, you rename it (DE.js for exemple) you open it and translate every expression (you shoud understand what you have to do by openning the file (with Notepad for exemple)).

For the sign, if you speek about the infinity sign, I see the bug on some iDevices, but not all, that's a bug which come from WinterBoard, I want resolve it but Winterboard don't want to work on my iPhone so I can't see what I do

Yes you can change the font size pretty easily. Open up LockBackground.html in Notepad. Look for this...

#city {position:absolute; left:20px; top:160px; width:80px; font-size:16px; font-size:26px; text-transform:capitalize;}

The font size is 16px by default. You can lower this value to your liking.

very nice widget!! ..but my location (las vegas) and the forecast (eg "partly cloudy") is on top of each other, making it kinda hard to read. is there a fix for this?

Great widget! It looks and works perfectly, except for one thing. I cannot change from 24 hour to 12 hour. I was able to change the language from FR to EN, but I do not see the option for 24H to 12H. Please help!

Ok I was able to change from 24H to 12H. But now I have a new problem. 12AM is displaying as "00"

so if the time is 12:05am it displays as "00:05am"

I found the javascript string in "LockBackground.html", but I don't know enough to make the correct change...

I resolved some of problems but now some others come (when I enable my theme in WinterBoard, the LockScreen is all black (under the clock and SlideBar)). So I can't test my edits.
