Hello, I'm new to adding brush textures and pattern type stuff into the SAI program file. I downloaded this pack and tried putting it in the blotmap folder, brushtex, and papertex and they wouldn't show up in my SAI program (that's without using the start sai.exe cause it seems that's what you were implying here). Do these textures not work with the newer beta version of SAI? And also, in your other tutorial I was curious as to where you got those textures from cause their awesome~ that and I can't seem to find regular type textures like checkered or dots :c

Start.sai Doesnt work in some version of sai. Try checking out my tut --->  chameleongirl-andrea.deviantar⦠it works in ALL VERSIONS

Okay, what you're missing here is not the problem of your version of SAI but rather the .conf files.
Sorry if you've already got this, but I have the urge to help anyways so.
You're supposed to put these in your papertex folder. Blotmap/elemap is for the brushes and brushtex is for the brush textures.
Now open the papertex .conf file.
Add these: [1,papertex\bluh_bluh.bmp] to your .conf file [without brackets] but edit bluh_bluh to fit your papertex image names. Continue doing this. And then save. And close. Also restart SAI.
If you still don't see them I don't know what to help you with anymore sorry
