"Black and white, contradictory, like its human namesake, on the first night of May comes to the world of Walpurga and brings with it the breath of a thunderstorm. Lightning streams from her skin and rises to the heavens, then to hit the ground and shed rain.
They say that whoever knows how to tame a mare will not be afraid of a thunderstorm while she is around. Walpurga will collect all the lightning on itself, so that later it will return to the sky on the first night of May.
But her temper is fickle and changeable, like a light breeze. Today she faithfully keeps a person, and tomorrow she can leave him in the midst of a thunderstorm and disappear until the next Walpurgis night".
