My first attempt at a tutorial!

Someone asked me how I made my nebulae, so I decided to make a quick walkthrough for them, but then it turned into a long 11500 pixel tall picture after a few hours of messing around, so I thought "well, now that I'm here I might as well just upload it to dA for everyone to see".

Anyways, I realize that the tutorial sample is not the prettiest/most detailed/most awe-inspiring nebula you've seen, but if you like it, please +fav! It helps to know if people like my work.

The image I have up there is most certainly not the best you can do with this; you can make a lot more layers than I did (and get a proportional increase in detail level), and do all that fancy edge sharpening/burn/dodge/blur by meticulous brushing that I don't have the skill for .

If anyone ever uses this, please post a link/thumb to what you made here so I can get example images that are much better looking than what I have up there. Cheers!
