Something a bit different this time, instead of my interpretation of a Star Wars ship, I've posted a screen capture of a new Star Wars ship from the just released trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series 'Andor' (coming out on September 21st). I have no information about this ship, though from the cockpit, it is clearly Corellian. It is featured in several scenes in the trailer and apparently is owned by one of the characters, an older man, probably a senator and from the look of the collection of vases and pottery in his fancy house, possibly an art collector or archeologist. This ship has a retractable top mounted laser cannon. I'm hoping there will be someone who creates and shares a 3D model of this ship. The Andor series looks pretty good to me, though if you must have Jedi and Sith in your Star Wars, you might be disappointed. Speaking of Star Wars series, there is a new (released today) FAN MADE Star Wars series, called 'Descendants of Order 66' that will be streaming on Wednesdays for the next month or so. A couple of SW fans (apparently German, though the series is in English) went to Tunisia where the Tatooine footage was originally shot, and spent a week with an old camcorder filming scenes. This was back in 2006. They've spent FIFTEEN YEARS making this fan film series and I watched the first episode today. While the acting is somewhat high-school level, the special effects are surprisingly good and for a fan-film made by amateurs, it is actually very well done. They are releasing it as a labor of love, not for profit. I'd highly recommend checking it out, as I firmly believe fans should have the right to produce their own content.
