She taught me how to draw so that's why it is. But I am trying my best to have my own style so people will not think I'm a copy cat.

No, for me it is not. People/artists came so far developing their own style and its kind of disrespect to them if you just "copy" it. They work hard, you should work hard, too. Plus, it is not a good thing as for my artist pride to be just watched and be loved because my style is similar to "x" artist, "y" artist.
