Sadly, Tuk has passed away. He died July 3, 2011, and was 12 years old. He is watching over Shelly and Casey and the rest of the pack, and is running free now. It breaks my heart, as I felt I had a special bond with him. Hopefully, Maya won't be too lonely without him. I fear she too, will pass soon as well.
Tuk from last summer. Again, things probably wont look as bright and colorful as they do on my iMac, but hopefully, you will get some of the colors on your monitor.
Tuk belongs to Casey and Shelly Black, and they run the Northern Lights Wolf Center in Golden, BC.
Tuk is Maya's brother.
This is one of my favorites of Tuk.

Last summer? I went there last summer.. but I didn't go on the photography tour. Sadly, I have to wait 3 years before that, ugh. But I will look forward to it if I save up the money.. it really looks like fun.

Yes, I'm going to have to go when I'm 16, hopefully the center will still be up and running, I'd be very disappointed if it wasn't.. and I might be able to get an SLR camera eventually so it'd be great to get some shots.. gah I always wanted to go. So much money but I'm very sure it's worth every penny.

I'm sure it will still be open. I'm very close friends with Shelly and Casey, and knowing them, they will keep the center running as long as they are able. Although the wolves may pass away, the new pups bring life back into the center, and I'm sure they will be amazing animals. I should have pics of them when we get back from the trip, I'm leaving Friday for my walk Saturday.
