The characters Shizue and Rimuru from That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime. I love the anime and can't wait for more. The manga is even better.
So I tried and tried and tried to color this in some fashion. Digitally, traditionally... nothing I did I liked or was satisfied with. Nothing looked right and it was irritating the ever loving hell out of me. Somewhere along the way I got it in my head to make this look more manga-like, so I made a bunch of screentones in Photoshop and used them to screentone the lineart. Overall I think it turned out pretty well for the first time I've ever done this sort of thing. It was a lot of fun, too. I may do more like this in the future... especially if I can't seem to color anything to save my life. Ugh.
Anywho, awesome anime, great characters, fun story. Love it. xD
