My only problem with this photo is the one leg issue. I wish the perspective had been slightly different because the pose would look even stunning and difficult if you could see the extension of both legs.

This is incredible! I love this picture not only because it shows great photography skills and a beautiful woman, but because I also think it proves that pole dancing can be an art form. It's not just a slutty job for seedy bars, it's an art form that requires huge amounts of skill, strength, grace, and flexibility. It certainly doesn't look easy, and I think it's under appreciated.

It takes a helluva lot of practice, and using the pole is a lot harder than the bending, but it's not impossible

it's a good cardio work-out, keeps you flexible and you work with your own weight Besides, it's good for remaining fit and slim

is pole dancing a part of striptease? is it really aim primarily at titillating male audiences?

ninykinin In reply to Aellostriker2 [2010-10-11 05:19:14 +0000 UTC]
It depends who you ask.
It really is just another form of dance in my opinion. It requires dedication, years of practice and incredible upper body strength. When it comes down to the effort, it's just as amazing as gymnastics.

JazzLizard [2010-10-10 14:16:52 +0000 UTC]
Sheesh, that's some serious upper body strength being utilized right there!
Anyone who thinks this is easy should go try it themselves XD
Beautiful shot, I love the lighting and the fact that it took me a minute to figure out where her other leg was!
