No way, seriously? I love this! Those hard shadows create a really nice contrast, and the lines are well made. I like her armor too, very classy. The only thing you need to improve is the hair

And about the hair, yeah, I know,I should of spent more time on it, but hair is my lest favorite thing to draw, and/or color. I just ended up rushing trough it on this drawing,haha.

Your welcome. Gee, thanks. I'm not sure what to ask first. I've had a bit of artist block for a while now. Haven't been really able to draw anything I actually like all that much. I would like to get better at shading, but I'm not sure where to start. This picture I had a reference with. and it wasn't many shadows to it either. So I guess what I would like to ask is, what kind of materials do you use? your shading is really good, and sharp. And How do you get your lines so dark?

Too bad. I'm always booming with Ideas, I have one which I'm working on now, finished 2 today, and have 1 sketched already, and another in my head. I just have to keep up before I get even more idea!
Well, I use faber castell pencils, and for the darkness I just use lots of pressure and a 3B pencil, but move the pencil slowly. That's the trick for darkness
