Description Commerson's Dolphins Ross and Pepe performing a high jump during a training session at the Commerson's Dolphin Habitat at Aquatica! I love seeing them jumping and it was a real treat to see them do this behavior.

These are some of my favorites, saddens me to see this, but you did a good job of capturing the shot.

Wow I've never seen dolphins like this, they're like miniature orca's, too cute.

Thanks! These are Commerson's dolphins and you're looking at full grown males. A lot of the people there (despite signs posted everywhere) think they're baby killer whales but a newborn killer whale is actually be larger than adult Commerson's dolphin.

Thank you so much! They did get quite a bit of height. It's easy to miss when you're there though, they are so quick! They seem to fall faster than the other dolphins too.

Hehe, my husband and I really need to go to Aquatica, even if it is just to see the Commerson's. Amazing that we haven't yet when we go to SeaWorld at least once a month

I went to see the Commerson's dolphins but got a nice break from SeaWorld and taking pictures in general by going on the rides (except when I had to see the dolphins). I think it's worth it!

Cool. I've heard some funny stories about the Commies from a few of the educators at SW
