Description It is done! It's finally done !

I'm glad this is finally done. Since the last EQD ATG this has been sitting on my computer, waiting to be finished. For the challenge, I wanted to do a vectoring piece, but not traced from the show. No, silly me wanted to make his first vector an original drawing as well, and didn't expect to come across any problems. I found many. Though mostly motivation was the bottleneck, and so a wise lesson was learned: I don't like vectoring. I'll take up a pencil or tablet simulated painttool with joy and ease, but somehow vectoring doesn't feel very creative to me.

In the end, I'm happy how this turned out, so that's all that matters. Many things are up for improvement, but I think I'll leave them be. Perfectionism and procrastination share a thin border, especially if you don't have to much free time on your hands.

Tl;dr: This took me far longer than it should have.

As for the drawing itself: It's a fun little representation of the average brony artist, working his/her way through the night, with Fluttershy as it's vector

See what I did there?

Next up: ' OC, for which, hopefully, I will find some time in the near future.

Thanks
No photoshop for me sadly, it's a bit expensive for my liking. I used Inkscape to vector this together, but for non-vector art I use Artrage and GIMP.

Hmm, I do all my vectoring on my standard desktop, and it works out ok for me. Perhaps it works better for me because I'm less artistically inclined.

Also, having reference images helps a LOT to speed things up, even when doing custom artwork in vectors.

Good work!

Thanks for the comment.
I did actually refence this from a drawing I made, that I did manage to submit to the Artist training ground in time. So I guess I'm just a bit tardy

No worries, I procrastinate all the time.

As a matter of fact, I really ought to vector one of the drawings I made for NATG. I've vectored a few drawings my sister made for me, and it's not too much harder to do than a show screenshot, but you do need quite a few reference images of the subject pony to get it looking right.
