I used #62 on 100starryskies's Color Palette Challenge
Because there were a lot of pinks in this palette and since there was a "prompt challenge" going on in a group I'm in, I decided to try for a somewhat Valentines day theme. I know it doesn't seem like the typical lovey dovey Valentines Day stuff you normally see, but I wanted to try something different. I kind of imagine the deer being some sort of cupid, but in animal form. Like a love spirit. xD
Seriously though, I had a lot of fun with this. It was rough, but I pulled through. lol
Here's the contest if you're interested in seeing the other entries. Unfortunately it's ended and since I'm late, I don't even know if mine will count or not. xD

I love the way you shaded and used textures in this piece. It makes the deer look very dreamy and like something out of a fairytale. The way the flowers replace one of the antlers and the vines fall and curl around it's neck and head is imaginative and looks really pretty in my opinion. Though it seems like you tend to overblend at times. The rose petal in the front is barely reognizable. It's clear that you were trying to make it look like it is closer to the viewer than the other petals but I think a little less blending would've made it easier to see.
Another thing, that is more of a personal opinion: It looks like you used these preset flower patterns for the background. This is not necessarily a bad thing but it can look a little cheap and like there has been put less effort into the piece.
