Ok don't judge me, but when Cheddar was so startled by hearing the word "kill" it brought to my mind them like gasping out loud and staring horrified at Ghost and saying "you said a bad word!" (I know they’re not that young but I can't help but imagine it that way XD)

Alternatively, you could also see this in a serious manner of Cheddar hearing about what happened with I!Ghost and I!Bite. Both work lol.
