Description
A mash-up of Princesses Mononoke with the Pokemon world. Ashitaka ride's Yakul, a Sawsbuck. San's mother the great Moro is Arcanine "the Legendary pokemon" and one of her children a Growlithe. The Forest Spirit is Xerneas. This was done in Illustrator.Human face's aren't something i'm really good at doing in illustrator, so San and Ashitaka are kind of derpy looking.

The faces are not derpy, but Ashitaka's skin color is a bit too tan.

Yeah... I don't actually have a favorite. I've been watching them since I was 2, and I've seen/own every single one except the latest two.

I own 6 movies directed by Hayao Miyazaki, one of which isnt a Studio Ghibli film. The newest one i've seen is The secret world of Arriety, but i'm unsure if there are any newer ones.

Yeah.. after Arriety, there is "On Top of Poppy Hill, which is about boats in a war, and one about airplanes... (Very reative subject, Miyazaki. Very creative.)

A lot of Miyazaki's manga career involved stories about WWII, so him making movies about war and airplanes aren't really out of character.

Yea. His father actually made parts for Japanese fighter planes, so the war really impacted his childhood. He wrote "Nausicaa of the Valley of The Wind" which was essentially about surviving a post-nuclear apocalypse, which he later animated and it became his first really successful film.Β

Yeah, I like Nausicaa. It was one of his more depressing movies.
I see hi movies in 3 different catagories: Happy, Bittersweet, and Depressing. No matter which I choose, they are all good movies in my eyes.
