Description My current, cluttered desktop.

The ships are Starfuries from Babylon 5 - the two in the background are Aurora-class, the one in the foreground a Thunderbolt-class. Their colors are those of the Flying Tigers, a real-life fighter squadron whose design was used on B5 for John Sheridan's personal Starfury.

I'm using it because I think it's cool. No reason needed beyond that, right?

Looks like something from Star Wars, I've seen some of the movies I like the light up swords the one I saw was the first one I think, cool space ship though

You're pretty close. These are different models of Starfuries, spacefighters from the 90's sci-fi series Babylon 5. Good show, and the first to use extensive CGI, but sadly, it's best known nowadays for the number of actors associated with it who've died untimely deaths.
