Description
Here's a slightly more successful (and far more elaborate) custom, Power of the Primes Swoop!
First, the wing extensions and missile launchers are courtesy of Nonnef Productions, and are part of the same set that I got the gun for Grimlock from. I'm including a link for the sake of being thorough, but as of this posting, they're sold out - hopefully, they'll restock soon.

Second, the sword is part of another Nonnef kit, the same one that provided Grimlock's sword. This specific variant is also sold out, but will likely restock soon.

Third, the gun comes from a seller on Shapeways - . I got the version in Smooth Fine Detail plastic, and it looks great painted up.

Fourth, I added a peg extension to the sword handle. You can get a set of two from the link below on Shapeways. I opted not to paint this part.

The only one of these parts to be painted was the handheld gun. Again, I used Testors Model Master Classic Black Custom Spray Enamel and Testors Model Master Semi-Gloss Lacquer Overcoat.

You're not far off. In the comics and TV shows, the Dinobots' swords can heat up to better cut through other objects. One series even literally had them catch fire.

Yeah, I guess but I don’t really know anything about sci-fi fiction though, I like the the glowing sword thing in Star Wars that they fight with, those are pretty cool, the only person I saw is Darth Vader and Darth Maul still wondering if those dudes are related though. I’ve never really watched Star Trak either, that Leonard guy plays that guy, I only know that because I used to watch Big Bang Theory

Nice, I am hoping that Nonnef restocks that Dinobot accessory set again,I want those wing extensions for my Swoop, plus it has weapons for Slash.

I suspect they will. I'm also hoping they restock soon on the jetpack and weapon sets for Siege Sideswipe. I want to use them to kit up that G2-themed repaint that's due sometime soon.

Oh I hear you, I want Brunt just because I have a vintage Trypticon and he just looks ocol, but really want to get Refracktor(x3).

My Brunt will likely hang out with the modern Trypticon. As for Refraktor, I'm fine with having just the one. Got a BotCon Reflector trio to scratch that itch.

Cool. Yeah, my vintage Trypticon is complete, but I still want Brunt, I really like the new Refracktor, but not sure if spending $60 on three will be worth it. I will decide after I get my first one and go from there.
