ToyHax.com, a while back, produced a custom sticker sheet that let you turn the Power of the Primes Jazz figure into a new character, Smokeout. I snapped up that kit and a second POTP Jazz, then got some custom parts from Shapeways to help give him a unique new look.

The head is hand-painted using Testors Model Master Acrylic Semi-Gloss Black, Flat White and Guards Red paint, with a coat of Testors Model Master Semi-Gloss Lacquer Overcoat. The guns are also hand-painted, using Testors Model Master Acrylic Semi-Gloss Black, Flat White and Cobalt Blue paint, again with a coat of Testors Model Master Semi-Gloss Lacquer Overcoat. I purposefully left some parts of the head and guns unpainted, partly because I was lazy and partly because I thought leaving some clear bits untouched would be neat.
