Entry for 's hybrid contest. I choose to do a combination between Espeon and Solrock. I thought it was fitting as they both seem to be sun Pokemon.Tried to preserve the crystal qualities of my Solrock interpretation with the velvety furred Espeon (hence, very short haired).
I had fun. Took me around 4 hours to draw and maybe 15 minutes to design.

That's a very interesting idea to combine Espeon and Solrock! It's not something most people would think of since they look so different, but you're right that they're both related to the sun so they are kind of fitting to be linked together. Anyway, I really like the way you brought Solrock's features out in the patterns on Espeon's body. The colouring does a nice job of bringing out the gem-like texture.
