I really love my Eclipsis. *huggles* I love him very much. And thanx to a friend that helped me with his anatomy a little, I'm more able to make him that much more realistic. In this picture, he is heavily modeled after a fox. His paws are much like that of a cheetah, for he has semi retractable claws. This picture was so small, I'm amazed that I got this much detail into it. It was VERY hard, especially the paws. I love how the paws turn out so much, and I thank =koishii-kitty for helping me develope them.I love this picture so much. I feel that this is one of the best I've done yet, almost as much as my bigger peices I've done recently. So, even though I did leave the Advanced Critique Encouraged thing on, please be nice. This picture means a lot to me. I just want help with making my Eclipsis look the very best as possible.
And just as a reminder, this was done on 3.5 x 5 inch paper with a mech. pencil, blending tortillion, and a kneaded eraser. I'm still using a limited amount of available tools in doing this as a part of my "training".

wow martin that really does have depth im not surprised your so proud of your creation.
do you use 3+ types of pencil? the sketching seems to have softness yet clarity.

Well, you little going on thing is a bit shorter then others, so don't appologize. Actually, no, I just used a mech pencil with 2B lead in it. That's it.

oh i really love it. especialy his little paw pads! he looks happy. i just love the paw pads. he looks so furry in this one! that is really awsome. i love those tails..and the wings.
the style you are using has an awsome fur feeling to it. i just love the idea of fur you get from this.

That's practically the same feeling I get when I look at this. For some reason, its often the paws of an animal that draws me into the picture. Whether its ~hibbary 's Umbreon or one of ~Goldenwolf or even one of your most recent pictures, I really love the paws.
I guess I was surprised that I actually was addicted to looking at the fur for a change. Hee. I think I'm gonna frame this tiny thing.

It's a new pose with some added challenges of having the wing in front and cheetah paws. >w< *loves it*
And you draw that much on an index card.. I'm amazed here.. and from the shape of the whole pic.. it seems as if you didn't use the whole card! @__@;;

Oh I will, you can count on that. I'm just planning. Just don't get it stuck in your mind that Eclipsis is an Umbreon, 'cause he isn't. (just derived from one, and from Sesshomaru and Ninetails and the Heartless.)
(Now I do realize that my other characters, Aerisis and Plasmasis do need a bit more work to have the same status as Eclipsis in not being a pkmn. I'm gonna work on that some more.)

Yup, and if you look close enough, you should be able to see the Sesshomaru influences, especially in my writen descriptions of Eclipsis.
