Here is what I came up with for a trade with . I did a bookmark design with a space theme since the character chosen had a spacey feel to it with its gold and silver fur impression. I do not know if that is actually how those marking were so I made them that way anyways.That planet took waaaaaaaaaaay to fricken long. Took longer to do that then the rest of the picture put together. The character's fur and the stars I took short cuts on to avoid long grueling hours. I added a boarder mat to give it a nicer, more professional feel.
The character's name is Tunatar and I have no idea what there is about this character.
Trader may request original size if they want to print it off and actually use this as a bookmark.

you should of been more daring with your creature's shading
Because I cant' see where the creature's back legs are, or its tail, and from my view it looks like the back is broken.

i can see the head has a great structure and the body is pretty good.
but it looks like you rushed the shading ;w;
and that leg (if it is a leg..) shouldn't be pointed like that...

I really love the celestial background. The planet came out really beautiful!
I also really like the idea of the border, and that sort of window affect.

I did this digitally with Paint Shop Pro X. Though for the planet, I will never use that program again. It is too painful. I need Photoshop to do those better, faster, and with less frustration.
I used an electronic tablet to draw on the digital canvas and used a bunch of other computer features to complete the picture.

I think you can just take this and print and it's already a good sized bookmark.
I know that you put a lot of attention into detail and I ahve seen it in your past works a lot.
The planet looks great and accurate-looking. It's a great trait that you have.

The planet needs work. I could fix it if I have a semi-advanced Photoshop program. Maybe I have an old pirated copy somewhere that someone gave me. Hmm...
