Description
IntroductionThe only constant in this universe is change. The human race as a whole is a fairly selfish species. Most days on this blue planet Earth are occupied by vacant and worthless thoughts, swimming in our atmosphere like fish in an ever-expanding sea. “What am I going to wear today?” “I wonder who’ll win the game tonight…” “Man, look at her beauty!” are only a microscopic picking of the thoughts surfacing every day. Many of us don’t consider other life forms. In the omnipotent eyes of our planet, the human expansion is the first millisecond of a blink. Our world is billions of years old. There is an overwhelming amount of life on this planet. Most recognizable examples are life forms like dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals, like saber-toothed cats or woolly mammoths. But this magnificent insight is not focusing on the past, but, as the title dictates, the future.
As I have mentioned before, the human race is very self-centered. Of course there are those who study the habits of other living organisms, but the mast majority is focused on their own affairs. Many of the things one may consider important: sports, music, media, are simply excruciating details on the planet of Earth. As we speak, the lush planet of Earth is dying. And it’s our fault. The Homo sapiens is ridding the Earth of its fruit. Animals, plants, and whole habitats are being mutilated of their natures. The most diverse areas of the planet, the rainforests, are being torn down rapidly, for simple things like farming and factories. It seems like every passing second, forests are being wiped off the face of existence. It’s like the human race is a quickly spreading and fatal virus that is diseasing the Earth.
Mankind, like any other species, is bound to go extinct somehow. For that to happen, civilization must go. And for that, society must be the first step. Nobody will ever know just how the human race will go. War, economic failure, government failure, etc. The list is endless and open to possibility and speculation. However, the question this project will give an speculative answer is: what happens after we’re gone. And not just after the human race collapses. This is past the ruins, past the wastelands, and past Homo sapiens. Our cities will be broken down by nature’s avenging plants and fungi. Animals will run where we once tread. And history often repeats itself, so if today and yesterday’s life can tell us anything at all, we can tell the creatures of the future will be great. And wild. And fantastic.
Come with us now on a journey through time, around the globe, looking in the world of
The Future

I must agree with practicly everything you've stated concerning human beings! because of these reasons, I often wish I could catagorize myself as a member of another species, but alas, I must accept what I am... a destroyer of worlds.
