I love the relationship between these two a lot.After Fluttershy, Spike is my favorite My Little Pony character! I love his character development and I guess I can relate to him the most.

You know, this makes me wonder why some people think Spike is nothing but an assistant to Twilight. IF he was JUST an assistant, he would be easy to replace if it ever came down to it. But considering the fact that Twilight risked her life to make sure he was safe, just goes to show - to ME at least - that Twilight considers him to be a LOT more than JUST an assistant. In fact, she said so herself:
"You are my number one assistant. AND FRIEND."
Maybe she doesn't show it all the time, but when it does come up, we see that she cares about Spike a lot.

Spike is one of my favorites, too. The character development is one reason why I consider him a favorite. I also see him as one of the biggest heroes, at least of what I've seen of the second season so far.
Anyway, I loved how you drew and colored those two. Nice work.
