Good work the effect of the acrylic and markers gives a very vibrant feel to the colour of this. I love acrylics personally they are so versitile and dont irritate me by taking FOREVER to dry!

This does inspire a certain cheerfulness in one. The kitty just adds to that. Without him/her/it it would have looked a little empty. Emptiness isn't cheerful... good thing this is!

Her expression is so happy, but not unrealistically so. The warm colours match the mood perfectly, and really draw the viewer into the mood of the painting. And that kitty?
