much better than you cloud one, but then again dont save as jpg.
the outfit color selection is much more better, the purple blend much better than the grayish turquoise you used with cloud.
Then again the outline look sketchy and unoptimised. you should always clean up all unnessesary pixels in your outline to give the smoothest feel possible.
His rod weapon is quite akward, you should try to straighten it up so it actually looks like a metal rod.
the hairs again are great, so is the face and the eyes even tho its a very simple shading you used the effect is very enjoyable.
In overall its better than the cloud one, we can see the improvement, altho it look rushed and there is a lot of place for cleaning up your pixels

Reno doesn't actually look quite as odd as your Cloud one... 8D I think it's just mainly the angle on your Cloud one that makes it look kind of strange. Quite a lot of detail you've got on these pixelled AC characters, nice work!
