This one was done for a watercolor demo. I was attending as a lecturer at art camp held by my old high school. Well...as a newbie lecturer, not sure this would be helpful or not *sweat* lol!
...but someone pointed this one looks like a merman rather than a little mermaid...don't you think?
PS. After came back from the camp yesterday...I'm totally sick T__T. Have to wait until my sister wake up and give me a ride to see a doctor *cough x 10 times*

the texture s what really stands out for me, i wasn't very good at watercolor(more of a sculpture and acrylic type). very pretty, it really could be either sex, i just really like your paper^_^

สีสวยมากค่ะ แต่เห็นด้วยว่าเหมือนผู้ชายมากกว่า สงสัยเพราะคอที่หวิด ๆ จะมีลูกกระเดือกออกมาแล้ว
ส่วนที่ขาวเวลาวาดต้องใช้กาวกันกระดาษไว้หรือเปล่าคะ? เห็นบางคนเขาทำกัน

อันนี้พี่ไม่ได้ใช่กระดาษกันไว้ค่ะ รูปนี้ค่อนข้างเล็กเหมือนกัน ส่วนใหญ่ถ้าเป็นรูปใหญ่ๆถึงจะใช้พวกนิตโต้เทปหรือกาวยางพารากันเอาไว้

This is very beautiful and ethereal.
Plus, my favorite color is blue. And there are lots of very nice hues of blue to appease me. Wonderful work (:
(Oh, also, for some reason the texture I really like. It seems almost kind of faded, or crinkly papered. Like...how when spilt coffee dries on paper. Except blue. Did that make any sense? XD I fail)

When I first saw this I thought it was a sky nympf or something, like a spirit of the sky but then I saw the ears and read the little quote from the ORIGINAL Little Mermaid and it just brought me back to my childhood. Thank you for that!
This is amazingly well done. It's very touching because it's how you feel when you read a book or a quote from a book. Very nice.

The face does make it look more like a merman, the nose and chin just have such sharp angles that take away how feminine it looks.
Aside from that though - I love how you did the eye. And the use of watercolors. Never really been a skill of mine, heh.
