I've always been a huge fan of Gears of War, and couldn't pass up the chance to enter a piece or two. The futuristic yet very retro weapons, the gritty atmosphere, and more than anything, the awesome monsters!This wallpaper design is a bit of a departure from what I normally do, but I was surprised that I was able to pull off the effect. The whole thing is done in pencils and corel painter. I can't wait to try another piece!
