part 8 = make a new layer above the block colour but below the lineart and block shade setting the layer to multiply. (i tend to do 3 of these 1 each for light, mid and dark shading)Related content

well it can be done just as easy on one Matt, but i find doing it this way helps when it comes to making mistakes, plus you can play with the setting on them (you may end up with something you like better then your first idea)
P.S. work faster i want to see the lineart done
