Thank you, I actually applied the "gel" to a sphere instead of a light, then viewed it through a 2D plane with a transmap applied, of course there is a little more to it but I just...can't...remember.

My pleasure it's a word used by the Commander of Babylon 5, one of my favorite t.v. shows (no longer on the air). He was played by the actor Bruce Boxleitner...it stuck with me ever since I first heard it
