This is one of the pictures I drew over spring break. It took me about 2 days to complete, and looks a LOT better in real life...Someone spilled bubble juice on it, however, so I had to edit it on the computer to get rid of the orange splotches. :c The splotches made me very sad...
I know you rarely ever see a hummingbird sitting down, but I saw one over spring break sitting on a branch very similar to this one, orange flowers and all. SO IT IS POSSIBLE, contrary to what my family was saying. XD

I think the blending of the colors is amazing! My only critique is (I'm not sure but) should the wing be higher, I mean closer to the head, but I'm not sure. What do I know

I was looking at a reference for the head in order to sketch it out. A few random pictures on Google Images did the trick. ;D

The colors work really well together and I'm in aww with the plant and the anatomy on the bird is really good (in my opinion. I'm not too familiar with birds however). I love how the flowers practically pop off the page.
