slooooowly working up to a full-body sven that i'm actually pleased with. here, have a moping/out-for-a-walk sven. he likes trees.the title is the name (i think) of a russian orthodox song for a basso profondo soloist. seriously, look that one up on youtube and be amazed. it's such a beautiful, mournful sound... le sigh. SVEN, YOU ARE MELODRAMATIC.
...in case it isn't blindingly obvious, mike mignola's work makes me wish he drew sven for me. really. seriously. sven's got that ultrashadow(tm) technique down pat. heavy shadows are attracted to his face like, uh... like stuff. i have no idea, it is late and i am tired. 8D
i find it amusing how so many people go SNAPE at sven because he has dark hair and a nose, haha. not complaining, really, just that my brain goes for RASPUTIN first and SNAPE never even crosses my mind. or maybe it's just me. hurr.

I don't think Snape or Rasputin have anything on Sven -- he's very compelling and broodingly attractive in his own right, if I may say so. I particularly enjoy the shadows of his face, as well as the splash of blue and how it interacts with the black and white. :]
