since it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find out what exactly hungarian middle-class merchant families wore in the early 1500s i sorta just... fudged it for annuska's outfit here. apparently most of europe was wearing similar clothing until later on in the century, when you could tell the difference between spain/france/england and northern europe/germany without trying. this is me making some educated guesses and taking liberties, though i tried to keep to a more northern european look rather than veering into the mediterranean babblebabbleblah. WHEE.

i have to stop doing this to myself. D:

this would probably be annuska around the time of her wedding; married women covered their hair, right? she got to wear the headdress for a grand total of five hours before some randy old vampire decided to 'take care' of her husband and make off with her. widowed in record time! she had another vampire claim her after that one, and then sven took over.

how did she meet sven, you ask? he almost tripped over her. ...it was dark and they were both preoccupied. and then HILARITY ENSUED, in the form of sven chasing off annuska's entourage (read: angry mob of villagers) and proceeding to fight the current boyfriend... and winning. current boyfriend thought sven was challenging him, so sven figured he'd give the guy what he wanted. annuska had given up caring, by that point, and hey, having a gigantic barbarian for a boyfriend might come in handy the next time an angry mob shows up!
