I feel like those moments where you see someone with a mole and you're like "dont talk about the mole, dont talk about the mole, dont talk about the mole."
xD
Anyway, the head.
The sizing thing is a great unique style, and it really gave you an opportunity to focus on the art you enjoy, including doing amazing eyes and nose, and very sweet lips.
The body really is just as amazing, its perfectly styled, it perfectly represents the original references, the only issue is that it just isnt big enough for much more detail (like the head).
None the less, we love all unique ideas and styles, and you really showed how well you can draw facial features and hair here, a great entry!

Well, I wanna tell you I really enjoyed doing this! Your girlfriend OC is so cute!!!
About the size of the head.. yeah, I know! I love to make it huge because I love big eyes... I think the eyes are so special. Sometimes you only need to see someone's eyes to realize how it feels.
About the body, you're right. There isn't much place for many details. But I like to doing it the same size as the head, I like that way. It's like a chibi style but different at the same time.

One day, and maybe not today or tomorrow or for this contest, I really hope you come back and redo the body to make it full detail. Like, add 1000 height and make the proportions right. You're style is fantastic, some of your lineart, shading and overall attention to realistic detail really makes this piece great, the only downside is the whimsical comic effect the proportion has to it.
I ca clearly tell why, and it was to focus on the face, and that's great, your eyes have so much detail and depth to them, the iris, the lines, the fleeting shade. Beautiful.
I hope you think my comments have been fair D: I wasnt sure if every artist realized I commented on EACH work. I wanted every artist to know a few things
1) That I've given each picture a thorough look, including zooming in, looking for fine detail, looking to see what the artist wanted to create.
2) That all work, regardless of style, has a chance to win. People shouldn't feel bad if they cant draw hands or imaginative poses or get the shading right. This contest was about bringing to life an OC, and every artist did that.
3) That no one's art is perfect, and there really tend to be a lot of suggestions. I dont critique art when someone doesn't request it, but if someone asks for advice or critique I'm more than happy to judge.
