incredible drawing! i can just hear the rockin blaster master tunes jammin in the background. do you remember the cut scene / intro, where the frog jumps into the hole? that was so spooky. your art captures the spirit perfectly. well done!

I never could figure out the story of this game. The frog falls down a hole, grows giant, the guy follows, finds a huge murder tank and goes to kill the frog. As well as a huge horror show of mutated freaks?
I know the 80's and early 90's were all about nonsensical video game plots, but usually they weren't prefaced by fancy introductions. Joust didn't bother to explain what's going on.
And that's what bothers me the most. If Blaster Master had just kicked off at the first level, nobody would have batted an eye. But that introduction just left me confused. What the heck was this game about?

The newspaperish background with the bold character foreground works perfectly! However, I overlooked the frog at first. THE FROG SHOULD BE EXTREME FROG!!
