Hope van Dyne is forced to fight Uraraka after failing to reason with her, the latter brainwashed by Ultron to serve him for his plans, made to think that Hope is responsible for Deku's 'death' (which she doesn't know he's actually alive) to turn them against each other and equipping her with a modified quirk amplification device based on David Shield's original design.Β Part of my "My Hero Academia: Age of Ultron" idea.Β

This would be an interesting way to see how strong Ochako is knowing she won't hold back much, if at all. Jealousy mixed with mind controlled rage won't make for the best combination and Hope's gonna have a rough fight on her hands.

Considering how obsessed with Izuku she is and how jealous she gets when Izuku talks with/about other girls in canon, would Ochaco even need to be brainwashed to fall for that lie?

No I do not.Β She is a boring, annoying, poorly written character, especially when compared to most of the other girls in the series.Β Hell, even Hagakure is a slightly better character than Ochaco and she's had the least amount of screen time and development compared to the other girls.

Oh those debates are stupid to begin with.Β Kacchaco only exists because of their fight at the Sports Festival, BakuDeku exists because yaoi fangirls think abuse is cute and they constantly mistake friendship/animosity/rivalries as sexual attraction, and IzuOcha...well you know my stance on it, so we'll leave it at that.Β Best course of action is to just ignore those debates, but if someone is being really toxic about it then call them out on their bullshit.

Mind control + modified quirk amplification device = death for target.

Would be good if they managed to eventually get that device and turn it against Ultron. It may then get destroyed at the end but so no one else would use it afterwards. [I always thought the blueprints of the device were confiscated after the events on I-Island, if not destroyed, even by David himself.]
