Future Eri entrusts her younger self with a disk containing a recorded message to be given to Deku once the events leading to the dark future are averted and when she's not here anymore, no matter what her fate shall be.Β Part of my "My Hero Academia: Days of Future Past" idea.

The fact she knew she could die (and considering the form of time travel used is similar to Terminator where there is no return method) makes everything more sad at the end.
