Hey I'm not totally against Derpy and Dinky having a relationship, I just imagined it as a foalsitter type deal. Doesn't mater I guess, this pic can be anything.
But yes, poor Doctor. Now he has two choices.
Choice A:
"Perhaps I can at least try to understand all the hype, get to know him personally. That way I can be even closer to Derpy and Dinky in the process, yes that should do. Alright, time to give it a go!"
Choice B:
"Perhaps I can invent a machine and use it to one-up this super being and prove that I am a much worthier pony to be around! That should make Derpy and Dinky appreciate me better! It's fool-proof!"

It would make for a much more interesting story, but he can eventually go with the first option. He could even be the Dr. Doom of Equestria. Or he could be like Dr. Octopus but most fanart shows Octavia as Doc Ock so I don't think it'd work to well for Dr. Whooves.
